It’s been two years since OpenStreetMap Carto was deployed as the standard map layer on OpenStreetMap.org, and the project goes from strength to strength. There are thousands of comments on over a thousand issues, over a thousand commits and five hundred pull requests.

Andy will discuss the expansion of the OpenStreetMap Carto team over the last year, and how they manage priorities and workload. The talk will also cover the challenges of designing the map to fit everyone’s competing needs, how you can use the stylesheets in your own projects, how to contribute to the project and what is in store for the future.
